awesome...

yesterday, my parents gave me one of the most
awesome & hilarious BuNnY MoNsTeRz gifts i have
ever received...

they just got back from their bora bora trip this
past weekend...and unbeknownst to me, they had taken
dad's BuNnY MoNsTeR (whom he named Charky)
to bora bora with them.
well, charky went everywhere...on boats, out to eat,
and apparently had an amazing adventure...

p.s. all the glue is now off my incision...
and it's healing nicely...i might even drive as soon
as this weekend! yay me!

today is...

...my parents 40th anniversary!
they're in Bora Bora...
so they won't see this until they return.
(what they'll also see is a whole lot more snow
than when they left...)

i took this yesterday & matt decided to sneak up behind me...
(i took several, but this one made me laugh)
it's mainly just to show everyone
that i do still have my head attached.

(all the bright purple is the marker from the incision line,
stuck under the glue)
and after my checkup and xray on feb 11th...
i should actually be able to sew again...yay!!!

p.s. i am hoping one day they'll make medicinal glitter glue...
it would have been so much better....and sparkly!

hey all...
just quick from my phone since I know some of you only check in here. Came home on my bday 1/12...
being well taken care of by matt & munki...

tomorrow is the day...

so, tomorrow...
(monday, the 11th)
i check into the hospital at 6am...
my neck surgery is scheduled for 7:20 am.
i know i will be there at least overnight,
they say this surgery is a general stay of 1-4 days.
but i hope to come home the next day (my birthday)
i keep telling myself this IS a birthday present in disguise...


so...
i'll post again as soon as i can...

we are in the midst of our annibirthday week...
matt's bday 1/5...anniversary 1/9...my bday 1/12...
but...
on monday 1/11...i will be in the hospital having neck surgery...
so, most likely, my bday will be spent in the hospital...
(though i may be able to come home that day, depending)
so, whilst you don't have to write them here...
please send some good thoughts, vibes, and/or prayers my way...
